A 38 year old man was seriously injured after he was stabbed during an argument in Mount Royal – KZN this afternoon (Monday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to Nomaswazi Circle at approximately 19:17. On arrival, Reaction Officers found the male in his home bleeding from a stab wound to his back.
It was established that the injured male was consuming alcohol with other individuals on the side of the road near his residence. He began arguing with one of the male’s who produced an Okapi knife and stabbed him. The suspect thereafter fled on foot. Circumstances surrounding the argument were not established.
The victim received First Aid on scene before being expedited privately to hospital.
