During a routine stop-and-search operation along Cason Road in Boksburg North, Gauteng Traffic Wardens and Gauteng Traffic Police apprehended a male suspect found in possession of drugs (CAT). Upon further questioning, the suspect led officers to another location where additional drugs, including mandrax and CAT, were discovered in a parked vehicle. The suspect was arrested for possession of illegal substances.
In a separate operation, officers received a tip-off from CarTrack about a stolen Hyundai Tucson linked to a housebreaking incident in Soweto (Meadowlands).
The vehicle was successfully tracked and recovered in Benoni.
