Safety awareness and back-to-school campaigns conducted in the Edenvale area

The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Social crime prevention unit officers, conducted a safety awareness and back to school campaign at Stoneridge mall in the Edenvale area.

The purpose of the awareness was to educate shoppers about road safety at schools.

Officers distributed pamphlets on road safety and shared information on municipal bylaws, especially food traders and hawkers at school.
