Provincial Commissioner of the Police in Gauteng, Lt Gen Tommy Mthombeni is leading from the front at a roadblock in Roodepoort where police are searching for stolen/hijacked vehicles, stolen goods and other illicit goods transported on the roads.

More than 25 illegal immigrants have been arrested so far. Gauteng police continued with crime combatting operations across the province to ensure that the community is safe, even beyond the holidays period.
