Whilst on routine patrol in poor weather conditions today, an alert KZNVIP Officer noticed an battery being thrown over a perimeter wall and then an African male suspect jumping out.
KZNVIP Reaction Officer gave chase and swiftly apprehended the suspect who was also found in possession with dangerous weapons. The suspect had concealed a knife within his waist but was Restrained effectively to prevent an attack.
Suspect is a known drug addict from the area and was taken away by SAPS.
