The South African Police Service in Mahwelereng under Waterberg District is searching for a 12-year-old girl, Lily Ditshego Sepoloane, from Mahwelereng Polar Park.
The mother of the missing girl reported that Ditshego departed her residence to attend a church service at Ga Madiba village on Sunday 19 January 2025 at about 08:30. She reportedly returned home with other children and changed clothes and allegedly went to her aunt’s place at Mokopane Extension 14.
She never returned home and has since disappeared. A search was conducted at relatives and surrounding areas without success.
The description of the clothes Ditshego was wearing at the time of her disappearance is currently unknown at this stage.
Police are urging anyone with information that can assist in locating the missing girl to urgently contact the Investigating Officer, Warrant Officer Patrick Mogoane on 072 245 2659 or Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or nearest police station or MySAPS App.
