Shots fired during home invasion in Cornubia

No injuries were reported after four balaclava clad suspects fired shots during a home invasion in Cornubia – KZN.

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the housing complex at approximately 22:55. On arrival, it was established that the armed males forced their way into the home and held up the occupants.

They stole two TVs, a laptop, a Samsung A14 cellphone and an ATM card. The robbers fired shots before they sped off in a white Toyota Etios (registration unknown).

One spent 9mm cartridge was recovered at the scene.
