A Black Mamba measuring 1,5 meters was captured in Cottonlands – KZN.
A resident contacted the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Centre for assistance after they spotted the snake in a rondavel.
RUSA Area Managers Nkosinathi Ndaba and Kevin Valoo were dispatched to assist and on arrival located the reptile in a hollow block that was utilised to raise a bed.
The Officer captured the highly venomous snake without incident.
