Boyfriend attacks woman during domestic dispute in Mt. Vernon

A 40-year-old female has declined to open a criminal case after she was attacked and injured by her live-in boyfriend.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received the call for assistance from neighbours at Chubbys Garage – Mt Vernon in KZN for a stabbing incident.

Reaction Officers arrived on scene & established that the couple had been fighting for three consecutive days.

According to the victim, she was attacked with a plank with metal nails on the end. The home was extensively damaged during the fight.

The girlfriend sustained bodily injuries but declined to register a criminal case.
