A suspect was arrested for house break-in in Dawncrest – KZN.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were dispatched to the property situated on Falcon Crescent after receiving reports of a house break-in in progress. Reaction Officers arrived on and surrounded the premises.
The suspect entered the ceiling and removed the roof tiles in an attempt to make a getaway after he realised he was trapped. He fell off the roof and through a carport. Reaction Officers immediately tackled and restrained him. He sustained minor injuries from the fall. The house was unoccupied at the time of the incident.
The 25-year-old was detained at SAPS Verulam.
