Suspects arrested for the possession of unlicensed firearms, live ammunition and drugs

The Gauteng Traffic Wardens (STT) in the Eastern corridor together with the SAPS crime prevention unit and security companies were patrolling within the Germiston area when they spotted 2 suspicious, male suspects walking along the streets. The officers managed to apprehend them, despite their attempts to flee.

Upon searching, officials found one firearm, a 9mm pistol, one magazine, ammunition and drugs amongst other things. Both suspects were arrested for possession of unlicensed firearms, live ammunition and drugs.
