A swift response by KZNVIP members led to the apprehension of two teenagers involved in the theft of a dog in Newlands West.
The incident occurred when the teenagers fed the dog a piece of meat laced with a tablet, before jumping into the yard and stealing the animal.
Thanks to a vigilant neighbor, KZNVIP was alerted and quickly responded, apprehending the two teenagers.
Unfortunately, due to the urgent need to rush the dogs to the local vet, the teenagers were released unharmed.
The dogs are currently in stable condition.
KZNVIP commends the neighbor for their quick thinking and thanks the homeowner for their swift action in seeking veterinary care for their pets.
