DMPS members have been actively engaged in various operations across the city. Our clean-up team is assisting beach members with waste disposal at Boscombe JOC, while another team is conducting a street clean-up on Alexandra Street.
Hawker enforcement operations are also underway on Cannongate Road to ensure compliance with city bylaws.
In addition, our bicycle patrols are monitoring the beachfront area, and our freeway unit is actively managing traffic conditions.
On the roads, officers are currently attending an accident on the M4 North at Blue Lagoon while others attending the accident on the N2 Northbound, just under the M1 Higginson Highway bridge.
Motorists are also advised to be cautious on the M41 from Gateway towards the M4, where traffic is heavily backed up. Please allow for an additional 15 minutes of travel time.
