A break-in was reported at Carden Crescent, Parlock at approximately 17h05. KZN VIP Control Centre received the information via social media and promptly dispatched Response officers to the scene.
Upon arrival, officers met with homeowner. who stated that she discovered tampering with the rear window, including a broken handle and burglar guard when she arrived home after work.
The property was found ransacked, with multiple items stolen. Number of suspects and exact time cannot be confirmed at this stage.
A full inventory is still to be conducted to confirm the extent of the theft. Saps was advised of the incident.
