SANDF uniforms, unlicensed guns, mine explosives, ammunition and stolen cars have been recovered by police in the uMzinyathi District of KZN.
Since Wednesday, Newcastle Public Order Policing, PMB Flying Squad & other units have been conducting firearm recovery operations.
A total of five suspects have been arrested in connection with guns found in various locations.
The operation was sparked by intel from a recent CIT heist in Enkovukeni, KZN.
In the latest raid in Greytown, 1x male suspect was arrested with illegal firearms, ammunition, and SANDF uniforms in possession.
The suspects are set to appear in court soon.
