KZN VIP Control Centre received a report via social media about a suspicious male wearing black clothing, walking on Earlbridge towards Stonebridge Drive.
KZN VIP Response officers were promptly dispatched to the location. During their patrol on Stonebridge Drive, they spotted the suspect matching the description.
As officers approached, the suspect dropped two bags and fled into nearby bushes. Despite an extensive search, the suspect was not found.
Upon inspecting the bags, officers found multiple copper fittings, approximately 10 meters of copper pipes, and electrical cables.
