Intelligence operation leads to the arrest of six suspects

On Saturday, 15 February 2025, members of Provincial Crime Intelligence, POCC Combat Team, TRT Lockdown and the Drone Unit received information about a possible business robbery that is planned in Milnerton. The members put an operational plan together and operationalised the information.

The identified vehicles were spotted and stopped and the members ensued with a search of the vehicles and the occupants. Two 9mm pistol with ammunition and a signal jammer were confiscated. Six suspects between 30 and 48 were arrested for the illegal possession of firearms and ammunition and a signal jammer.

The suspects will appear in the Cape Town Magistrates’ court on Monday, 17 February 2025, on the mentioned charge.
