IPSS Medical Rescue responded to a business in the Umkomaas area, after a man fell from his raised basket, pinning him against a first floor window.
IPSS Medical Rescue medics were able to gain access to the man through the window, bringing him onto the flat roof to allow safe treatment.
He was stabilised on scene by IPSS Medical Advanced Life Support Paramedics, having sustained serious injuries.
Members from IPSS Search & Rescue and the eMkhomazi Fire Department, then lowered the patient from the roof down to the waiting ambulance.
He has been transported to a nearby facility for further care.
