On Friday 21 February 2025 at 12:00, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Drug Enforcement Unit Officers, intercepted a male suspect for dealing in illicit substance in the Vosloorus area.
Following on information about an individual selling illicit substance in the community. Officers proceeded to a residence on Ramaranda Street and upon arrival found a forty-nine(49) year old in possession of x19 Ziplocks containing Crystal Meth, x30 Mandrax tablets, x4 pieces of Mandrax tablets, x10 Ziplock packets containing half Mandrax tablets and Cannabis (Dagga) all with the estimated street value of R5000.
Officers immediately handcuffed the suspect who was escorted to Vosloorus Police facing charges of dealing with illicit substance is expected to appear in the Vosloorus Magistrates Court soon.
