Reaction Officers are attempting to locate family of the four (4) children aged between one (1) and eleven (11).
Neighbours contacted the RUSA Operations Centre this afternoon (Friday, 17:52) after they found the minors alone in their Hazelmere- KZN home. It was established that the children’s mother fled after being assaulted by their father last night (Thursday). Her whereabouts are unknown.
Their father was arrested by Police this morning. The children have since been left alone to fend for themselves. Reaction Officers managed to obtain the contact number of their aunt, but she is unwilling to assist.
The children’s picture was made public in a desperate attempt to locate their family or a Welfare Organisation that could assist until their mother can be located.
