These are the words of MEC for Transport and Human Settlements Siboniso Duma. Early this morning he met the family in a Temporary Residential Unit built in the yard after the family’s home was destroyed by mudslides.
Duma saluted Nkwanyana for being a disciplined and dedicated civil servant. “I heard from his Supervisor, Ngubane that he was an exemplary civil servant at the newly built Dr Pixley ka Isaka Seme Hospital. The whole government lost a machinery that ensured the quality service to the community.”
The family has expressed their appreciation to Duma and councilor Puleng Hlomuka – her office, Cllr Cyril Xaba – Mayor of eThekwini, relatives and neighbors for the support.
