Gunmen gain forced entry into homes in Amaoti

Two suspects armed with firearms forcefully gained entry into three rooms and robbed the occupants in Amaoti – KZN.

One of the victims contacted the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Centre.

According to the female, she concealed herself in her room and feared that the suspects would return.

Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and on arrival, established that the suspects had bent security gates and kicked open the doors to three rooms on a property. They stole several cellphones and cash before they fled.
It could be confirmed if a vehicle was used.

No injuries were reported.
