Efforts by members attached to the Tygerberg Crime Combatting Unit in the fight against the illegal distribution of drugs in our communities and to put the offenders of the law behind bars, yielded positive results when they confiscated a large quantity of drugs.
On 08 March 2025 at about 18:50, the members, followed up on information of narcotics at a premises situated in Endurance Road, Conifers, Eersteriver. On their arrival at the premises, they ensued with a search of the premises and occupant during which they found tik.
The members confiscated one black bag containing 91,64 grams tik, one blue bag containing 164,50 grams tik and one transparent bag containing 55,79 grams tik and a Dixon jewellery scale. The drugs and scale were handed in as exhibits. An adult foreign male was arrested and detained for the possession of drugs.
He will appear in the Blue Downs Magistrates’ court once charged.
