Pictured is 14-year-old Okuhle Mayekiso who fled to the Western Cape on Sunday (09/03/2025).
Mayekiso is a resident of Nkandla in Eastern Cape. Her family have conducted an investigation and established that the teenager boarded a bus from Mthatha – Eastern Cape on the day of her disappearance.
They interviewed the driver of the coach who confirmed that he dropped off a female matching Mayekiso’s description
and a male in Cape Town – Western Cape. Her mother accessed her social medical accounts and found chats between the Grade 9 pupil and a 36 year old man. They are believed to be in a relationship.
