Ensure Security officers stationed at Northpoint Park in the Shakas Head area, noted a suspicious looking male approaching the fence line.
When the man was confronted he fled on foot and an immediate call for the assistance of TRT members was made.
A description of the suspect was given and the man was spotted attempting to flee on the N2. A brief foot chase ensued, resulting in his arrest.
The man was found in possession of electrical equipment stolen from the area on Friday, as well as plyers and a large knife.
The suspect was apprehended and handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing.
