The body of a man was found in overgrown vegetation in an area locally known as New Houses in Oakford – KZN.
Residents made the discovery and contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) for assistance.
Reaction Officers and RUSA Paramedics were immediately dispatched and on arrival found the man in overgrown grass next to the road. His clothes were blood soaked. He sustained a penetrating wound to his head. A pool of blood was discovered on road approximately 15 metres away.
His identity has not been established at this stage.
