Minor injuries were reported after two (2) vehicles collided at the R102 and J.G. Champion Drive intersection in Phoenix – KZN yesterday afternoon (Saturday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were dispatched to the scene at approximately 21:14 after passing motorists contacted the Operations Centre for assistance. On arrival, Reaction Officers discovered a black BMW in a bush alongside the road. An extensively damaged white Ford Fiesta was found in the middle of the intersection. Both drivers sustained minor injuries and were being treated by Paramedics from a private ambulance service.
Circumstances leading up to the crash were not immediately established.
