Just before 4pm on Sunday afternoon ALS Paramedics responded to a serious single vehicle crash on the M1 Higginson Highway near Westcliffe offramp in Chatsworth, South of Durban.
Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a single vehicle had somehow lost control and left the roadway before colliding with a Tree. Paramedics assessed the scene and found that the four occupants had all sustained various injuries. Immediately more Ambulances as well as Advanced Life Support Paramedics were dispatched to assist.
Paramedics stabilized all of the injured on the scene before transporting three occupants to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage the events leading up to the crash is unknown however SAPS were in attendance and will be investigating further
