In the early hours of Saturday morning, a tragic incident occurred at the corners of Lenham and Fernham, resulting in the death of one person.
KZNVIP Response Officers were on patrol when they noticed a vehicle that had been parked and still idling, with no response from the driver.
Upon investigation, officers found the driver, a male in his 40s of Indian descent, with a gunshot wound to the head. He was sadly declared deceased at the scene by paramedics.
At this stage, the circumstances leading up to the incident cannot be confirmed.
