This afternoon, KZN VIP Response Officers conducted a stop and search following a reported trespassing incident in the Longcroft area, Phoenix.
During the search of a suspicious male who displayed a similar description of the suspect who trespassed and attempted to steal, KZN VIP officers discovered a knife concealed in the suspect’s waistband. Upon questioning, the individual confessed to being a drug user and claimed to be residing in a nearby drug den.
The concealed weapon was safely confiscated, and the individual was released from the scene after the necessary procedure was followed. The male was not identified as the suspect who trespassed into the premises.
