Villa Nora Detectives outside Lephalale in the Waterberg District are appealing to members of the community for assistance in locating the individual depicted in the attached identity kit. The person is believed to be an accomplice in a business robbery that occurred earlier this year at Ga-Shongoane 2.
According to reports, on the evening 05 March 2025, at approximately 17:30, a shopkeeper was conducting business at his shop when three African males entered, posing as customers. One suspect produced a firearm, pointed it at the shopkeeper, and demanded money. The victim was also assaulted with the firearm. The suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes, escaping in a white Toyota Yaris without number plates. Fortunately, no shots were fired during the incident.
The SAPS urges anyone with relevant information to come forward. Community assistance could be vital in ensuring justice is served.
