A suspect involved in an attempted housebreaking and theft was apprehended by KZN VIP Security in the Whetstone area of Phoenix.
KZNVIP Security received an alert regarding a suspect who had unlawfully gained entry into a client’s premises. A vigilant neighbor provided a detailed description of the individual involved.
Response units were immediately dispatched and, while en route to the location, identified a person matching the description not far from Lakestone. KZN VIP officers swiftly apprehended the suspect. The suspect was positively identified by the neighbor and was found in possession of stolen items taken from the premises.
SAPS were called to the scene, where the suspect was formally arrested and taken into custody for further investigation.
KZN VIP commends the swift response and alertness from the neighbor which assisted in the successful apprehension.
