Eight people have been injured two seriously so after two vehicles collided at the corner of Stanger Street and Argyle Road on Saturday evening around 10pm.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived on the scene to find that two vehicles had collided in a T Bone format in the junction. Two occupants of the one vehicle were entrapped in the wreckage and the jaws of life had to be used to free them. Once stabilized by Advanced Life Support paramedics they were carefully extricated from the wreckage. All eight people were then transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
