A woman tragically lost her life during a shooting incident on High Street near Middle Lane in Oakdene, Johannesburg this afternoon
Netcare 911 paramedics and members of the South African Police Service arrived at the scene and found the lifeless body of a woman lying on the ground.
Upon assessment of the woman, believed to be in her thirties, paramedics found that the woman had died prior to the arrival of emergency services. Sadly the woman was declared dead at the scene, as there was nothing further that could be done for the woman.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the shooting incident and preceding events are still unclear and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
