Three people were left injured this afternoon after a taxi crashed into a street light on Long Street in Kimberley.
ER24 paramedics, along with provincial services, arrived on scene to find the taxi wedged up against a concrete pillar. A Street light lay in the middle of the road.
Paramedics surveyed the scene and, on assessment, found that three people had sustained moderate injuries in the collision.
Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to Kimberley Hospital for further treatment.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
