A man is fighting for his life after a heavy chain fell on his head from a height at a construction site in Durban this morning. Exact detail as to the cause of the chain falling is still speculative and will remain a subject for investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the site in Commercial Road Durban and found the man lying on the ground with Life threatening injuries. After medics placed him on a manual ventilator and skilfully immobilised him on a trauma board, they transported the man to a specialised facility under the constant care of an advanced life support paramedic for the care that he required.
