Two women sustained serious injuries when they were shot in Pinetown, Durban during the early hours of this morning.
Shortly after midnight paramedics from ER24 arrived on Dale Street in Pinetown where they found the two injured women. A woman, believed to be 29 years old, was found with a gunshot wound to her neck. Another woman, believed to be 21 years old, was found a few meters away with a gunshot wound to her leg.
Both women were treated and stabilised on scene before being transported to hospital. The exact circumstances surrounding the incident is not yet known. Local authorities attended the scene.
