Friday morning EMER-G-MED’s RV5, M04 and A09 responded to the scene of a truck crash on the N3 North after Van Buuren Road in Bedfordview.
Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a truck and a car had collided, leaving three of the highway’s lanes obstructed. One person was found to have sustained minor injuries.
While paramedics were attending to the injured person they witnessed a secondary collision involving a motorbike. The motorcyclist sustained moderate injuries and was also treated on-scene
before being transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
The Ekhurleni Metro Police Department were on the scene to investigate both incidents.
