At 20h23 on Tuesday night Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a collision on the M4 just past the Umdloti off ramp. Exact detail to the cause of the crash is still speculative and will form part of the South African Police investigation.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the two cars collided head-on. After triaging the injured it was found that three adult and three children sustained injuries in the crash. Paramedics stabilised the injured at the scene before they transported them to hospital for the care that they required.
