At 14h26 on Saturday afternoon Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a pedestrian crash on the N3 in Keyridge, KZN. Reports from the scene indicate that the twenty-nine-year-old man was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene at around 19h00 last night.
Medics arrived at the scene and found the seriously injured patient lying in the centre median .After been exposed to the elements for almost twenty hours with no treatment , complications set in worsening his condition.
Paramedics worked fervently at the scene to stabilise the man before they transported him to a hospital in Chatsworth under the constant care of an advanced Life support paramedic.
