On Saturday night Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a shooting incident in the Lebowakgomo area about forty –five kilometres from Polokwane. Reports from the scene indicate that a man was walking home when he was struck by a bullet from a drive by shooting. Exact details to the shooting however will form part of the South African Police investigation.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the man had sustained a serious wound to the leg. He was treated at the scene before they transported him to hospital for the care that he required.
