At approximately 05:35 am this morning members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to the R614 in Esnembe after receiving reports of a motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival Reaction Officers found a TATA Indica lying on its roof. The driver had abandoned the vehicle and left the scene prior to the arrival of RUSA Officers. It was later established that the driver had left the scene and proceeded to the Tongaat SAPS and reported the incident.
He was then transported to a medical facility for treatment for minor injuries which he had sustained during the accident.
