At approximately 09H05 on Wednesday morning 28 February 2018, Netcare 911 responded to reports that a man had fallen off a ladder while at work in an industrial plant in Vanderbijlpark.
Netcare 911 Advanced Life Support paramedics attended to the forty five year old man and due to his serious condition they opted to call the Netcare 911 specialised helicopter to the scene.
Once stabilised, the man was airlifted to a specialist Trauma Unit in Johannesburg for urgent care.
