Two Nine your old children have been injured after being knocked down by a vehicle in two separate collisions on Friday afternoon.
Just after 2pm Rescue Care responded to Westville Road near the Primary school for the collision. On arrival they found the child had sustained moderate injuries and was stabilised on the scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being transported to a nearby Hospital for the further care that he required.
AT the same time units were dispatched to Carrick Road in the Malvern area also for a 9year old boy who had been knocked down. He had sustained critical injuries and was placed on a manual ventilator on the scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being ruched through to a nearby hospital in a critical condition.
SAPS attended both scene and will be investigating further.
