OPEL’s South African 35 strong dealership network has announced an amazing offer on 1000 selected OPEL models – you can buy an OPEL with only R1 deposit! To top it off, OPEL will pay your monthly instalments until April of 2019!
The offer is in line with OPEL’s international pay-off line of “The Future is Everyone’s” says Brian Hunter, General Manager of OPEL South Africa. “Although OPEL is a German premium brand, we strive to make the brand more affordable for South Africans in a recessionary local economy. It is a transparent deal and there are no loaded or higher payments afterwards,” according to Hunter.
The OPEL range is known for the fact that the model line-up offers pound-for-pound more cutting-edge technology and features than its competitors in each category that it competes – from the compact OPEL ADAM right through to the flagship SUV – the new OPEL GRANDLAND X.
The R1 Deposit offer will unfortunately not apply to the award-winning OPEL ASTRA, which was voted Car of the Year in 12 European countries, as well as European Car of the Year of 2016 and South African Car of the Year of 2017. The Offer does however apply to the following OPEL models:

“Normal” bank finance criteria will apply for buyers who want to purchase a new OPEL at the R1 Deposit, which means that the buyer will have to be able to qualify for a vehicle loan in terms of normal bank finance approval criteria.
