An Intelligence driven operation conducted on Saturday (2018-11-17) in conjunction with members of Rapid Rail National Response Team at a house in Villa Bianco Flat, Bellville led to the arrest of a 31-year-old man on charges of dealing in drugs.
Members received information about a premises where suspected dealing in narcotics occurred and acted swiftly. At the premises, members found a dagga laboratory, approximately 200grams of cocaine and chemicals used manufacture drugs which they seized. The estimated value of the high grade dagga and cocaine is estimated at R900 000.
A 31-year-old man was arrested and will appear in the Bellville Magistrates Court on Monday on charges of dealing in drugs.
The Western Cape Provincial Commissioner Lt Gen KE Jula commended the members for their efforts to bring perpetrators to justice and the community for their involvement in the fight against the drug trade.
