A stable groom has suffered critical injuries after being kicked by a horse in the face.
ER24 paramedics at the scene said that the man in his 20s was trying to get the horse into the horse box when it all of a sudden became very agitated and kicked the man almost full in the face. He needed immediate Advanced Life Support care as he has suffered multiple broken bones in his face and a possible head injury. The Medicopter was called in to airlift him to hospital for further treatment.
