KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sihle Zikalala, as chair of the Provincial Command Council, led the monitoring of the level 4 lockdown regulations by citizens and businesses today.
The Premier was accompanied by MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Bheki Ntuli and MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Nomusa Dube-Ncube.
They participated in a multidisciplinary law enforcement roadblock at Marianhill Toll Plaza on the N3.
The Premier and MECs also visited businesses in the Pinetown area to monitor compliance with regulations as many workers resumed work under level 4 of the national lockdown.
