Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) are currently searching for a man and a woman who were allegedly stripped naked and dumped in a canefield between Tongaat and Verulam.
A man arrived at RUSA offices in Verulam bleeding from an injury to his head. He explained that he is a taxi driver and was hijacked by four armed suspects in Merewent, Bluff.
The suspects drove the white Toyota Quantum taxi with registration NUZ 30043 towards Tongaat. During the trip, they pistol-whipped him which resulted in his injuries. There were also five passengers in the minibus at the time of the
hijacking.

They then dumped the driver in an unknown isolated area before they sped off with the two remaining passengers. The injured taxi driver managed to flag down a passing motorist who drove him to RUSA offices.
