NORTHERN CAPE – The police in Upington are investigating a case of inquest following the recovery of a body that was found floating in Orange River on Tuesday, 27 October 2020.
The body of an unknown man aged between 30 and 35 was discovered by a community member, who immediately summoned police. The deceased was wearing a black jean, black t-shirt and blue tekkies. At this stage, it is still unknown where he could have drowned.
The SAPS is appealing to the community to assist in identifying the deceased. Anyone with the information or who may know of someone missing, fitting this description, is requested to please contact the nearest police station or the investigating officer Constable Tsaone Motshware on 082 495 4615.
